FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER SSJ LUZON CLUSTER CELEBRATION PROVINCIAL HOUSE MAY 1, 2013

vocation

The Siervas de San Jose and the Lay Josephines jointly celebrated the feast of St. Joseph the Worker, their Patron and Model, last May 1, 2013, in the SSJ Provincial House, beginning with the fitting Eucharist presided by Rev. Fr. Martin, a Claretian priest.  The highlight of the Eucharistic Celebration was the public renewal of commitment by the Lay Josephines.  Collaborators, friends and benefactors joined the SSJ and LJ.

The traditional table fellowship followed.  The festive mood of the celebration and the sharing of life, presence and food were life-giving and they deepened the bond of unity among those present, with St. Joseph as the link.  The event ended with the viewing of a documentary film for socio-political awareness and education.

In solidarity with all the workers nationwide and worldwide, we honor our Patron and Model St. Joseph the Worker, and through his guidance and inspiration, grow with them in the awareness and valuing of our rights as humans and workers.
